| 1. Preview Achieving Personal Fulfillment Ezine explores how to progress rapidly from dreams to action. It is a free monthly email newsletter written by Maurine D. Patten, life/business coach and clinical psychologist. Using Positive Psychology, topics are presented from the perspective of Maurine Patten and are provided to help you get the results you want. It will help you manage change, improve your Emotional Intelligence and make better decisions with less effort. How are you doing with the goals that you set the beginning of this year? Research indicates that by mid-February most people will have given up on the goals they set in January. I hope you are not one of them. | 2. Before You Give Up on the Goals You Set, Read This Hopefully, you are one of the few who is making progress on the goals you set for yourself last month. If you followed the suggestions in last month's ezine, you increased your ability to pick the best goals at this time in your life. If not, you may have already given up on a goal or are thinking about doing so. If this is true, you might want to carefully consider the following tips, and see if you gave up too soon. | 3. Getting into Action The goals that we value the most may be difficult to reach. There can be sebacks and plateaus to work through. This can decrease your motivation and cause you to question whether or not your goal is appropriate. Are you experiencing any of the following warning signs that you need to let go of a goal?

Looking Ahead For those of you who are looking for ways to track your progress, there are several online resources that you might find helpful: www.joesgoals.com - easy tracking format. www.joeslogbook.com - a log book for tracking your goals. www.lifetango.com - includes a brainstorming wizard and enables you to find others with similar goals. www.mylifechanges.com - a free and paid version which includes reminders and other enhancements. It incorporates your goals and values. www.toodledo.com - a task tracker with email reminders and a Firefox extension that enables you to view your goals without visiting the website.
